There is a clear difference in fitting something into your life as a hobby and letting that something shape your life. Those on the latter side of that distinction are who Colorado-based photographer, skateboarder and snowboarder Matty Alberts has set out to connect with and document. He calls it the LIFERS Project, and he’s been at it for a few years now.

Recently, Matty teamed up with Cadillac to create the Seasons Collection which, through multiple mediums and across four seasons, chronicles the experiences of those letting their passions dictate their lives. The third episode in the series takes place in Aspen, and profiles LIFERS Scotty Arnold, Travis McClain and 95 year old Klaus Obermeyer.

Matt and the LIFERS crew spent the week in Aspen, Colorado capturing passionate, life-long-enthusiasts like X-Games Gold Medalist and owner of Radio Boardshop Travis McClain, professional snowboarder Scotty Arnold, and National Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame member Klaus Obermeyer – still hitting the slopes at 95 years old.
