Stop #6 of Volcom’s Peanut Butter and Rail Jam paid the troll toll at Trollhaugen, WI on Sunday February 15, 2015.

Most humans are not built for -10 degree weather for more than a few minutes, much less brave those temps throughout the day to perform at a ridiculously high level. It is easily possible that the Midwest bloodlines have thick skin and magical powers as 190 trolls shut down all features in their path. The Trollhaugen Park Crew put together a banging contest site that consisted of multiple transfer options from flat rail or wallride/creeper ledge to down rail in zone 1, the infamous Troll quad kink in zone 2, and more transfer options in zone 3 with a flat bar to wall ride feature. Troll also houses more towropes then anywhere else that we have ever seen. It’s not unheard of that riders in the Midwest can rack up hundreds of rope laps on any given day. This translates into an incredible rate of progression and precision jibbery. It just so happens that there was a ropetow inside the PBRJ contest venue that had riders whipping up the hill to maximize their attempts per heat. This lead to some of the most mind-boggling tricks we have ever seen since the PBRJ’s inception 15 years ago.

Volcom would like to give a well deserved thank you to Mr. David Sutton for all his hard work and dedication he provided to the PBRJ staff, competitors, and family members that came to support the scene. Thank you to Ben Klosterman and all the Trolls on the park crew for the well planned and perfectly executed/maintained contest site. Thanks to Josh Johnson, T.J. Antisdel, and Jeffy Gabrick for freezing their extremities and taking down scores. Thank you to Emmet Klocker and Andy “Always Summertime” Conrad, Mike Pettit, and Mike Thienes for their help with everything in-between. Also, check out our additional tour sponsors that hook up the kids with extra stoke at each and ever stop.
