2014 SIA Snow Show, Denver, CO (January 30, 2014) Vans proudly welcomes Jake Kuzyk to the global Vans Snow Team. Following an impressive catalog of memorable video parts over the last year, Canadian street style expert and backcountry ripper Jake Kuzyk kicks off 2014 as part of Vans’ celebrated snow boot program, in addition to apparel and footwear.

Jake Kuzyk: “I have always respected the Vans vibe – a timeless brand that is constantly evolving but never loses grasp of where they came from. All of their teams are so diverse and everyone is well supported. Now, after their 20th year in the snow industry, I can’t believe Vans has taken me on. It hasn’t even quite set in yet, but I’m extremely grateful – this is something I have wanted for a long time.”

Jake’s effortless style can be witnessed in stand out video parts in films such as Enlighten, The Last Ones and Retrospect by Videograss Productions, in addition to K2 Snowboarding’s most recent release, Seek and Enjoy. Jake’s talent spans all types of snowboarding, including but not limited to urban jibbing, park destruction and backcountry style. And as if that didn’t keep him busy enough, Jake also finds time in between riding to get behind the camera, filming his own skateboarding and snowboarding films.

“Jake is a perfect addition to our team,” said Vans Snow Marketing Manager Kevin Casillo. “Not only is Jake’s personality one of a kind, but his love for skateboarding and filmmaking, along with snowboarding is a true reflection of the Vans spirit. We are very excited to have Jake join the Vans family. Welcome Jake, make yourself at home.”

In addition to Vans, Jake is sponsored by K2 Snowboards and Bindings, Ashbury, Drink Water, Howl, Poler Stuff, and The Source.
