Starting with the graphics — the CAPiTA Black Snowboard of Death features a pirate ship on the topsheet and skulls on the bottom — we think to represent the exploration you’ll do and the poor souls that will be left after you zoom right on by.
The award-winning Black Snowboard of Death leans toward the all-mountain side of riding with a custom-designed rockered nose, a subtle 5mm tapered tail, and positive camber through the mid-section. This allows for tons of pop, insane control, and superb flotation in powder — three key elements to making you a better snowboarder in variable terrain and changing conditions. The 2017/18 model has been completely redesigned and returns to its anytime, any place, any condition, all-mountain mantra that made the board famous in the first place.
For 2017 the Black Snowboard of Death has been outfitted with a stronger flex pattern created by an FSC® Certified Hover Core™, X-ARCS™ Engineered Carbon and a high-tech glass and resin combination that is designed to sustain abuse. That means you can charge through chunder, ice field, or groomers with the same confidence you take into waist-deep tree runs and back bowls. That’s what we call a serious all-mountain design.
