Nitro Fate Women’s Snowboard – 2018
Look into the future. Do you see yourself slashing pow, boosting off booters, and hitting a variety of urban? Might be fate, might be the Nitro Fate — there under your feet with whatever your throw at it.
Part of Nitro’s All Terrain collection, the directional twin shape of the Fate allows for goofy landings in the park, but a floaty ride through the backcountry, so whether you’re frontsiding down a rail or riding Vail’s, legendary back bowls, you’ll be good to go. Speaking of fun rides through pow, the overall feeling of the board is soft, playful and has a narrow middle, which will help you turn with a purpose.
If going fast is your thing, you’ll enjoy the Nitro Fate’s Sintered Speed Formula Base. It absorbs more wax and has a high abrasion resistance. Plus the board’s made of extremely lightweight poplar wood in in the Powerlite Core so you can send it without being weighed down.
With the Fate’s Cam Out camber profile, there is traditional camber in the middle of the board, meaning the middle is slightly raised, while there is rocker in the nose and tail. Ultimately, the rocker provides excellent grip for landings, and the traditional camber in the middle of the board means your board has pre-tension built into its shape, allowing you to really snap off your tail.
Need more validation? Ana Rumiha has been riding for Nitro for eight years and keeps the floral Nitro Fate locked under feet when she’s filming for Lipstick Productions, making beautiful pow turns at Kaunertaler Gletscher, or hitting the insane superpark at Dachstein.
