Salomon Pillow Talk Women’s Snowboard – 2018
If your idea of pillow talk is conversion about Narnia-like places that never stop puking snow, high-speed chairs with no lift lines, free access to helis, and an abundance of open fields and trees with of waist deep pow, then you might have some trouble getting some sleep. Luckily, the Salomon Pillow Talk is there to wake you up.
The Salomon Pillow Talk snowboard is there to assist your exploration of your winter playground. It has been designed specifically for floating you through powder for hours on end.
Shaped by legendary Austrian rider, Wolfgang “Wolle” Vyvelt, the Salomon Pillow Talk is the women’s version of the Salomon Hillside Project. It’s flat in the middle of the board for stability, has a slight camber under each binding for response, and then rocker on the nose and tail for pop. But perhaps one of the most interesting features of the shape of Salomon Pillow Talk is the tapered, thick edges that curve somewhat upward. This quality is what really allows for easy maneuverability and floatation through this powdery, wet substance we all pray for called snow.
Insane backcountry rider, Annie Boulanger, is known for dropping huge parts in Absinthe Films, being goofy (both on her snowboard and off), surfing massive waves, and giving a genuine concern about the environment. She’s dedicated to the life outdoors and spends her time hiking bowls with the Salomon Pillow Talk on her back and dropping beautiful lines with it under her feet.
The snowboarder makes the board, but having a good board definitely helps the snowboarder. If you’re a powder rider and looking to push the boundaries this season, rest your head on your pillow, and get your shred on the Pillow Talk.
