VANS Arthur Longo Infuse Snowboard Boot

If you ride everything, from park to piste to powder, and like to have a boot that you can dial in for any imaginable scenario, Arthur Longo’s Vans Infuse is just what you’ve been looking for. Starting at the heart of the boot
is a three-layer footbed, which features higher density arch support and excellent heel dampening. When combined with the super cushy, heat-moldable liner, complete with a hook and loop top closure and full-wrap ankle support, your foot and lower leg are provided all of the support you’ll ever need for pushing your riding to the next level.

The carcass of the Infuse is a thing of beauty. No detail has been overlooked. Two removable tongue supports can be used for a more responsive experience, or you can use one on a single side of the tongue for an asymmetric boot flex, which can be great for tweaking and pressing. Going jibbing? No problem, just pull out the tongue supports and enjoy a softer, more supple ride.

Vans employed a BOA system to control the mid-section of the boot’s character. This placement creates a perfect starting point in a lacing system, where you can cinch down your heel, then tension your laces to taste, guaranteeing good heel hold even if you prefer to run your laces loose. When you’re into really charging and cranking turns, the upper cuff of Longo’s boot has a full- wrapping calf strap which can be tightened down to bring out the full flavor of the boot. – Mike Baser
