Official release from Burton:

Burton is excited to announce promotions of several company veterans in its marketing and product departments. The promotions follow recent leadership changes that went into effect at the beginning of February, with Donna Carpenter becoming Burton’s CEO and John Lacy running point as Burton’s President.

First up in Marketing, current SVP of Marketing Anne-Marie Dacyshyn will become Burton’s first Chief Marketing Officer, reporting to John Lacy. In her elevated role, Anne-Marie will now oversee the marketing creative department in addition to brand, digital, events, public relations, athlete management, retail marketing and partnerships. As a part of this new structure, long-time Burton Creative Director Evan Rose has been promoted to VP of Creative Marketing, reporting directly to Anne-Marie. And industry and Burton veteran Randy Torcom will step up to the role of VP of Brand Marketing.

On the Product side, Chris Cunningham will join the ranks of the senior management team as VP of Global Product and will now lead all product categories in both softgoods and hardgoods. In his new role, Chris will continue to report to John Lacy. Additionally, the creative product team will now roll up under Chris’ leadership, with design directors from both hardgoods and softgoods also now reporting to Chris.

With this new structure, Burton’s long-time Chief Creative Officer Greg Dacyshyn will continue in his current role, reporting directly to Burton Founder & Chairman, Jake Burton. Greg will be 100% focused on the creative inspiration and creative direction across the company, which includes approving all creative that goes out the door, continuing to spearhead Burton’s leading-edge collaboration projects and ensuring that Jake’s vision permeates through everything Burton does.
