Snowboarding is a passion we all share, and what better feeling is there than strapping into your board at the top of a big line in the middle of the North American summer after spending months trying to escape the heat. People are always surprised when I tell them I’m going to Argentina to snowboard until I explain that it’s currently winter in the Andes Mountains.

Argentina is the place to be. Having ridden all the snow on the resort, the crews at SASS Global Travel are hiking further off piste to get to more fresh snow and bigger lines.  Led by Guides Skylar Holgate, Chris Coulter and Tony Pavlantos, campers are able to push their riding to new levels. Each day we hear campers saying everything from, “that was the best day of my life” to “I have never done anything like that before.”  The most recent mission took clients off the backside of Nubes on an adventure hike to experience an area with large rock couloirs and fresh snow. Riders came back exhausted, but every single person was smiling ear to ear.

It’s still early in the season and lots of snow is predicted in the forecast. If you are tired of the summer heat, pack your bags, hop on a plane and get yourself down to Argentina to ride big mountains, shred fresh snow, and have the time of you life with good friends in Argentina.
