Nashua, NH (March 14, 2013) – Committed to signing riders with a true passion for the mountain, Shred & Slytech are proud to announce professional snowboarder Alvaro “Alva” Vogel has joined the team.

Having flown in fresh from riding powder in Japan, Alva had just enough time to pick up next season’s Stupefy Goggles and BACKPRO XT Lite before heading onto Canada to continue filming.

After 5 days of riding Alva was stoked with his new gear, “This frame is awesome! The lenses are super resistant and my vision’s always crystal-clear, no matter what”. The Stupefy, featuring Shred’s NODISTORTION™ technology and truly oversized lenses, provide the widest uninhibited field of view on the market.”

Alva’s vast snowboarding heritage will no doubt influence future Shred / Slytech lines. Helping build on rider-inspired products that include the Hydraback Pro XT, the two in one hydration and protection system that will break the market first thanks to Shred/Slytech’s dedicated team.
