Yawgoons 17… This group of friends from Rhode Island has come a long way. Nearly 20 videos, each more progressive than the last, have revolutionized the idea of what it means to grow up snowboarding on a small hill. Many of these features we have seen. The chain rail is infamous. Corrugated tubes, a staple. Yet we are still captivated, time and time again, by the talent of Marcus Rand, Dylan Gamache, and Brian Skorupski, and the impressive lenswork of Dr. B, Brendan Gouin. When so many edits are uploaded to the internet without inspiration, the fire that the Yawgoons capture shines through.
An interesting song choice also makes us wonder… What’s next for the Yawgoons?
