US Ski and Snowboard announced the qualifying stops for the 2022 Olympic Games today. While 2022 seems pretty far off, judging by the way time has felt warped even more than usual over the past year and a half, the Olympics are fast approaching and will be here before we know it. There’s a lot of talent on the US bench looking to grab those coveted team spots, so the lead up to Beijing will be a good show. Now that the Ultimate Surfer is wrapping up this week, we’re just glad to have something to look forward to.

We’ll be covering all of this as it happens of course, so think of this as a cheat sheet for when to expect lots of slopestyle run videos on Instagram from Gimbal God. If the Olympics were to start today, it looks like the top U.S. team would be Jamie Anderson, Chloe Kim, Red Gerard, and Taylor Gold in their respective fields with plenty of riders in the hunt. Judd Henkes, Hailey Langland, Julia Marino, Lyon Farrell, Chase Josey, Dusty Henrickson, Chris Corning and plenty more will be trying to secure a spot by one of the two routes for a chance at China. A new qualifying format that rewards top rankings in the World Cup race, as well as podium finishes in a few of the larger contests, will be the deciding factor. More on that to come. But for now, we have the schedule and the first event will kick off in December. Schedule below:
