For over a decade, The Meeting has marked the approaching winter season for snow sports enthusiasts, filmmakers, athletes, industry insiders, media and fans. The Meeting 12 will take place Oct. 6-8, 2016 with a weekend that will once again deliver a packed schedule including the latest ski and snowboard films, industry leading panelists and speakers, networking, and live music at Belly Up Aspen. The Meeting has evolved into a snow sports industry staple highlighted with an influential conference for snow and action sports brands that bring together filmmakers, media, resorts and others.

“Each year our team works to curate the right mix of films and speakers that bring together a perfect blend of marketers, media, athletes and content creators,” says Deric Gunshor, Director of Event Development, Aspen Skiing Company. “The first Meeting was built around The Community Project and this year’s return of Travis Rice with his latest project is going to provide the foundation for a fun weekend of networking around thought provoking discussion and amazing content.”

The conference portion of The Meeting is powered by Group Y, an action sports collective focused on uniting industries and igniting ideas. On Thursday, Oct. 6 and Friday, Oct. 7, top minds from inside and outside the snow sports industry will gather to bring unique perspectives and thought-provoking discussion around a variety of topics rooted in growing the outdoor sports business. The conversation will cover cross-platform digital marketing, brand activation, licensing and connecting action sports with the mainstream as well as touch on emerging technology platforms. The following panelists are confirmed and more speakers will be announced soon with the complete conference program.
