I first met The Casquad while in Quebec for The Ride Shakedown event at Mont Saint-Sauveur in 2012. The crew I was with fumbled with the language barrier and soon found ourselves at not only the wrong after party, but some of the only english speakers in attendance. The Casquad quickly came to our rescue, and between our broken French and Spanish, and their broken English and Spanish, we decided to combine forces for the evening. Since then they have become a staple component to all of my trips north of the border, and have developed into not only an encyclopedia of spots, but some of the hungriest young riders you can watch.

While The Casquad had taken a short hiatus from the traditional movie cycle, the 2017/18 season will signal a full return to filming with the release of their new film, Carpool. Strap in and enjoy the first teaser of Carpool, featuring riding from Charles-Étienne Leclerc, Jose Manuel Simplicio, Dominic Tessier, Damik Lamoureux-Brunet, Samuel Karki, Maxim Kennis and friends.
