Not only did Danny Davis help create a collaboration snowboard between Martin Guitar and Burton, a 2015 Easy Livin’ board graphic, but he is now an official ambassador for the company.

Nazareth, PA – January 29, 2014 – C.F. Martin & Co. has officially announced professional snowboarder Danny Davis as a Martin Guitar Ambassador. Danny became an ambassador after Burton Snowboards, Martin Guitar and Danny came together this past year to collaborate on Burton’s new Winter 15 Easy Livin Snowboard, which features Martin Guitar-inspired graphics. Danny, who just won the 2014 X Games Snowboard Superpipe and heads to Russia later this month, is an avid guitar player making his partnership with Martin a perfect way to blend his love of both snowboarding and music.

During his winning run at X Games on Sunday, Danny debuted his new 2015 Burton Easy Livin snowboard with the disctinctive Martin Guitar-inspired graphics. The focal point of the snowboard’s base graphic is the beautiful Martin fretboard with the iconic headstock and body. Danny chose custom inlays for the board’s graphic that symbolize things that are important to him, like fishing, camping, his dogs, peace and last but not least, Burton. Danny has gained global recognition by injecting massive amplitude and style into halfpipe competitions, and maintains it by continuing to adapt his abilities to all types of terrain. Danny’s contributions, both as a rider and as a powerful personality within the sport, are making an unquestionably positive impact on snowboarding. He is a member of the Frends Crew, a group of riders who turned their friendship into a formal alliance focused on returning the sport to its grassroots beginnings. Frends co-founder Jack Mitrani is not only a fellow snowboarder but also a Martin Guitar Ambassador alongside Danny.

To celebrate the new collaboration, Martin Guitar and Burton will host a live music event with musician Keller Williams at the SIA Tradeshow in Denver at Burton Booth #1965 on Thursday, January 30th from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.
