Ísland Born is the newest project from Icelandic pro snowboarder Eiki Helgason. This year in trying to keep things fresh, Eiki decided to dedicate his full part and season to his home Island. As part of a three part series, Ísland Born showcases not only a slew of never been done spots and locations, but day-to-day life in Iceland. The first part of the series features the above trailer for his full part, as well as the online Zine below. The Zine is a collection of stories from various contributors throughout Eiki’s life and career and is equally as eccentric as he.

The second release of the series will be Eiki’s full part and is scheduled for release on the 25th of October. And finally the third and final installment of Ísland Born is a Documentary on Eiki, in which Stan Leveille travels to Iceland to try and understand how a young farm boy ended up to be the snowboarder he is today.
