Travel and community have always been integral parts of snowboarding. The pursuit of snow takes us away from home, and brings us to new places and to new people. But no matter how far we may venture, our shared passion with those we meet often makes the trip more of a return home, then a journey abroad. In part, this is because we embody so much of our homes within our riding, that in sharing snowboarding with those we meet, we ultimately share our home.

The people at Dakine value this idea of heritage, and believe that sharing this element of who we are is important to snowboarding. As part of a new series designed to honor and share the homage of Dakine’s team, riders are taking each other on trips to where it all started. And now we get to tag along too.

In true Treasure State fashion, Jason Robinson brings Ozzy Henning on a trip to Montana to visit the Robinson household and to experience a portion of what made JRob the rider he is today. From laps at Whitefish, to a local lumberyard and rail garden, Jrob shows Ozzy what it was like to grow up in Montana. Sit back and enjoy the journey, while were sorry Pam Robinson didn’t pack a lunch for you too, this is definitely a trip not to be missed.
