Mark Carter does not have a traditional snowboarding background. His hometown of Ten Sleep, Wyoming has a population of roughly 300 people, many of whom are ranchers or farmers. It’s blue collar to say the least, and Mark had to earn the support of his community through the work ethic that is just part of daily life there. In the winters he may be off riding, but come spring he’s right back to working on the ranch with his family.

He knows how to bust his ass, on and off his board. That’s why we value his opinion and listen to what he has to say. Our friends at The Inertia Mountain got down the the nitty gritty from Mark in their series Headspace. Check it out.
