This film is the epitome of why powder days are better with friends.
Sometimes a detour can take you closer to home than you ever thought. David Bertschinger Karg, better known for his moniker DBK, resides in the Swiss Alps and has access to some of the most renowned snowboarding in the world. With the tremendous season that the Alps experienced last year, DBK and his friends found themselves in the midst of a staycation that proved how “detour” can be a relative term. The result of their staycation is a short film in the projectDETOUR series with as many laughs as slashes, backflips and bails. When you’re with your friends and having fun, everything just seems to fall into place. That’s the way that snowboarding should be.
When the credits roll, don’t think for a second that this is over. Watch until the end.
Featuring: DBK, Shayne Pospisil, Deniz Cinek, Roger Schuler, Mike Knobel, Kevin Backström, Nicolas Müller, Tyler Chorlton, Markus Keller, Nicholas Wolken, Tor Lundström

About projectDETOUR:
projectDETOUR is a short film series about three trips to three destinations. We’ve been hiking waist deep powder in the Alps, we high fived sheep farmers in Greece and rode our motorbikes through the state of California.
Follow the projectDETOUR crew on their journey through Greece. Where they found kebabs, a welcoming bunch of locals and so much more.
