With Keystone being in our backyard and always delivering one of North America’s most dialed early season parks, we are hyped to announce the resort will be open for the season on Friday.

From Keystone:

Keystone Resort announced today, November 4th, that it will open for the 2015-2016 winter season on Friday, Nov. 6. The resort will announce on Thursday the specific terrain and lifts that will be available for Opening Day.

“We know that we’ll be open for skiing and riding on Friday, but we’re going to give our snowmakers, groomers and patrollers another night to confirm exactly what we’ll be able to offer for Keystone’s opening day,” said Mike Goar, chief operating officer of Keystone Resort. “Stay tuned for a terrain and lift update on Thursday.”

First chair will be at 9 a.m. Friday, officially kicking off Keystone’s 45th winter season.

Opening Day Festivities
While waiting for first chair, skiers and riders can enjoy warm donut holes from Keystone’s renowned pastry chef Ned Archibald, as well as hot chocolate and coffee at the base of the River Run Gondola. A DJ will entertain the crowd while special prizes are handed out to guests awaiting the start of another phenomenal season at Summit County’s largest resort.
