Snowboard Money: Russia releases new 100-Ruble note in time for Olympics

Well, we didn’t see this one coming. But with the Olympics right around the corner, Russia, that huge-ass corporation, ahem, country, has released a new 100-Ruble note with none other than a snowboarder on it.

We came across this new “C-Note” via Here’s what they had to say:

To commemorate the 2014 Sochi, Russia Winter Olympics Russia has created a 100-ruble note that has a snowboarder getting big air, smiling, saying “broooo”, and pulling off an old school grab. The boarder is flying through the air over what appears to be some of the Olympic stadiums in Sochi?

On the back of the note is Fisht Olympic Stadium.

100 rubles is about $3 USD.
