Crystal, WA – Stop #2 of The North Face Masters of Snowboarding tour is returning to the incredible Crystal Mountain Resort Feb 6th-9th 2011. Crystal Mountain is located 90 minutes from Tachoma and 105 minutes away from Seattle via car or shuttle service. Once you arrive to the sleepy resort town you’ll feel like you are worlds away from the city below. Our money is on defending champs Forrest Burki and Shannon Yates to ride well regardless of the terrain.

Crystal Mountain is the largest ski area in Washington offering over 2,600 acres of freeriding delight with an average snowfall of 367 inches. With lots of out of bounds gates the terrain around the resort seems to go on forever. New for the 2010-2011 ski season is the Rainer Gondola that will whisk riders up 2,500 vertical feet in ten minutes. The only gondola in Washington is sure to be popular with the young crowd; and for those of us that like to jib around on our boards the resort features the Sasquatch Terrain Park with over 30 features all mellow in size and really fun to play on in between big mountain laps.
