The Arctic Challenge 2014 has arrived, and 12 great and stylish riders are here to help shape the future of snowboarding. Confirmed pro riders are Olympic Halfpipe Champion, Iouri Podladtchikov (SUI), Markus Keller (SUI), Arthur Longo (FRA), Danny Davis (USA), Jack Mitrani (USA), Benji Farrow (USA), Scotty Lago (USA), as well as young guns Gabe and Ben Ferguson (USA). Terje Haakonsen (NOR) will for sure also take part himself. The concept is simple, but complex in a modern sports world: Athletes decides on arena and contest format. On Saturday (forecast: sun) a packed Oslo audience (hopefully) awaits action. The riders have three days to decide which format to perform in. The job is as obvious as difficult: Make a format that is cool for both the athletes and the spectators.
