Salomon’s philosophy in building their team has never been based on snatching up the latest free agent. It’s the opinions of the existing team and the opportunity for a new rider to grow with the brand that dictates who gets put on. But when someone as promising at Tommy Gesme no longer has a brand putting boards below their feet, you gotta make a move, and Salomon made a smart one, at the urging of those who have built their careers with the brand. Say what you will about the dissolving of the Knowbuddy program, but it opened up some great opportunities. Congrats, Tommy.
