Over 40 professional snowboarders from across the world are slated to take part in the annual winter kick-off event at Bear Mountain, stepping up to showcase their skills and battle it out for bragging rights- and $15,000 worth of cash prizes.

The first wave of Action Sports Hall of Fame nominees has been announced, with a ream of incredible snowboarders making the cut. Ruf, Jones, Pearce, Ettala, and more score spots in the coveted Hall of Fame.
