The slopestyle and halfpipe finals at the LAAX Open 2024 are going down tomorrow morning (very early starting at 7:00am EST) and until then, all we have is the recap from slope qualifiers and what riders are dropping on social. We have the results (and finals start list) below alongside the full qualies slope recap and a few practice highlights with Darcy Sharpe. Top qualifiers in their heats to finals include Annika Morgan on the women’s slope side with Julia Marino the only American to advance, Chauen Lee took the top qualifying spot by .10 over Scotty James in men’s pipe (Chase Josey holding it down in finals for the U.S. crew), Chloe Kim is back on top after taking a break from the contest scene heading into finals day alongside Maddie Mastro making into the last round, and Canada’s Liam Brearley sits on top of the men’s slope competitors advancing to tomorrow with Red Gerard currently sitting in third.
