Performance Review
First Impression. The skate-inspired influence of the Public Display is evident from the first drop-in. It feels second nature immediately, making it incredibly easy to get acquainted with and doesn’t require a steep learning curve.
Edge Hold. The edge hold is impressive. It feels locked-in and secure when you turn it up across the groomers. Provides a stable platform that allows you to transition from high-speed carving to technical park features without losing confidence.

Edge Transition. The transition is mellow and predictable. It doesn’t have the aggressive “bite” of a stiff cambered board, but it’s remarkably maneuverable in any situation. The flat camber profile makes it easy to manipulate, allowing for quick adjustments.
Drive // Pop. The pop is the real surprise here. Despite the softer flex, it has an impressive amount of energy and snap. It creates a playful, enjoyable energy that makes jumping feel intuitive.
Nimbleness & Predictability. This board is a master of creativity. It’s incredibly “trickable” on rails and easy to set and spin out of features. Switch riding is right on point, making it feel balanced and predictable whether you’re turning or landing tricks in the park.
Stability at Speed. It thrives at medium speeds and is stable on jump landings and doesn’t feel erratic when you pick up the pace.
Fun Factor. This board is an absolute blast. I loved the “balance point” on presses, which makes holding long butters and tail presses feel incredibly easy. It encourages a creative, freestyle approach to the entire mountain, turning every bump into an opportunity for a trick.
The Deep Dive
Overall Impression The Public Display is a high-energy, skate-inspired freestyle machine that feels comfortable from the very first lap. It strikes a brilliant balance between a soft, pressable flex and the snap required for technical park riding. Very maneuverable and friendly, it’s a board that instills confidence.
Who is this board for? Riders of all ability levels looking for a fun, playful park-specific deck. It’s perfect for the skater-style rider who wants a board that feels like an extension of their feet and excels at long presses.
