Performance Review
First Impression. The Current is a high-performance, stiff all-mountain board that demands respect from the first drop-in. It carries a more aggressive feel than your average resort twin.
Edge Hold. Edge hold is highly dependent on rider input. It isn’t a board you ride on autopilot but rather a board that provides strong grip and stability when you actively drive the board through the turn.

Edge Transition. Transitions are purposeful and powerful. Because of its stiffer flex, moving from edge to edge requires some technique that really opens up on a fresh groomer.
Drive // Pop. The Current delivers powerful pop and a very rewarding energy return. It doesn’t give anything away for free, but if you have the leg strength to load up the board, it snaps out of carves with impressive force.
Nimbleness & Predictability. Predictability is where this board shines. A solid option for hitting jumps and navigating steeper terrain where you need to know exactly how the tail will respond to a heavy landing or a quick slash.
Stability at Speed. The stability is excellent. It handles speed and chop with a “damp” confidence that allows you to push your limits.
Fun Factor. It’s a board that pushes you to be a better snowboarder. There is a deep level of satisfaction in mastering its aggressive temperament and feeling the smooth, controlled carves.

The Deep Dive
Overall Impression The Current is an all-mountain powerhouse that thrives at higher velocity. It balances a stiff-flex core with enough versatility for switch riding and jump lines, making it a true “advanced-level” daily driver.
Who is this board for? Intermediate to advanced riders who want to push their limits. It’s for the rider who values precision over playfulness and wants a board that rewards strong, technical riding.
Who is it NOT for? Beginners or casual riders looking for a forgiving experience.
