Last night at the premiere of Ride Snowboards’ 30th anniversary documentary, Rough Around the Edges: 30 Years of Ride Snowboards, multi-time ROTY Jill Perkins officially got the nod to join the big leagues, though she’s been riding like a pro for years, of course. Ride celebrated Perkins on a massive night in Seattle in the sold-out Egyptian Theater surrounded by literally everyone who has ever been involved with the brand. It was a pretty monumental night to turn pro, fitting for an individual who continues to raise the bar in the streets.

The crowd, of course, went wild, Jill sprayed her friends and family with champagne, and the celebration went long into the night. In further testament to the impact Jill continually makes on snowboarding, Ride released a limited edition Ride Zero to celebrate Jill, with graphics designed by her good friend (featured in Carving Artist in issue 18.2), Cheyne Brooking and featuring Jill’s dog, Sammy. Congratulations, Jill!
