On Saturday, October 13th, Theatre 1 at the Revere Hotel will host Boston’s inaugural winter film festival. This first time festival will honor the passion, stunning visuals and jaw-dropping feats depicted in seven of the world’s best ski and snowboard films, including the award-winning Sunny, which garnered the coveted “Best North American Film of The Year” award at the 2012 IF3 Film Festival. In addition to Sunny, the festival will also premiere a limited-seating advanced screening of Jeremy Jones’ FURTHER, a critically acclaimed Teton Gravity Research film that will officially release on November 29th 2012. Other festival highlights include a silent auction benefiting Ellen’s Heart & Soul, The Esplanade Association, and Future Boston Alliance. Guests also will receive exclusive access to a private sale event at East Coast Alpine on Tuesday, October 23rd from 7pm-9pm.
