powder_padz_product_testing_mike_hardaker_photo_by_kevin_krill.jpgPowder Journal – Today we got off to an early morning 7:00am start to do some product testing for NSI Powder Padz to be featured in the Mountain Weekly. The temperature was around 2 degrees, the sun has started to rise and the snow was shinning with the early morning surface hoar conditions. We are very blessed to have such an amazing product testing facility directly out our back door of the Mountain Weekly News office. Local photographer Kevin Krill of Crested Butte Photography and http://mtnweekly.com contributor joined me early this morning to get some stunning photos.

It can be hard to find people motivated to take photos, videos and just put in the work that is needed behind the scenes. The day after Christmas Kevin being a true professional didn’t have to be asked twice to come help with the photo shoot. Even with the early morning start and cold temperatures he stayed intrigued with the photography, which for me as a rider pumped me up.

As I sit here and type this I’m gazing out at the lines that were put down outback this morning through our main windows. And I’m sure everyone driving in and out of Crested Butte today is taking notice as well. I can only smile at how how fun today was being able to combine work and play. Look for our NSI Powder Padz review to follow within the next few days.
