2024 Gear Preview from Interlude

The new 2024 snowboard gear for next winter!

The second-ever Interlude Snow Show took to the snow last week at Powder Mountain and over two days, all of the brands, sales reps, retailers, riders, and friends in attendance got to experience PowMo at its finest. This year’s show really capitalized on Utah’s current next-level conditions with a first-night storm that set the perfect stage for testing out powder-ready shapes. There were plenty of new models and new tech (including a couple exciting updates coming out in the binding world in 2024). Of course, two days of hot laps goes by so quickly and there was so much to check out, but here is an early look at some of our favorite products from Interlude. Much more to come next fall in volume 20.

Big news at Interlude was the unveiling of Candle, a new line by Arbor created with Pat Moore. The Candle Rain (named for Pat’s daughter) was on display. Follow @candlebyarbor for more info as the season continues.

Perennial favorite, Salomon’s Hillside Project Series, was on display and available to take out for runs. They look clean for 2024.

Rome’s line up for 2024 was on display, as well, and looking real good! The new AuxTech strap on the men’s Katana also comes on the women’s Guild. The non-smooth outline of the heelstrap allows the strap to more seamlessly and uniformly conform to your boot and consistently drive power. Spoiler: It goes!

Three new additions to another annual favorite, Burton Family Tree. The Gril Master, which had a special release this past fall, will be an in-line board for 2024. We tested out the Short Stop on a particularly snowy day and it is so much fun. The effective edge extends the entire length of the tail, so even though there’s not much of a tail, it rides with secure precision even when you are putting weight behind the rear binding.

The graphics on Ride Snowboards’ Thrash Collection are some of our understated-yet-emphatic every season and the 2024 line up is no different. The Warpig is looking good, as is the Psychocandy and the rest of the collection. The size demarcation in a really sharp pink on the topsheet of the above ‘Pig matches a colorway of the 2024 A-9 Binding, too.

Never Summer is releasing a new freeride board in 2024 called the Valhalla. First look at the shape and graphics above.
