HOOD Is Where The heART Is

Portland, OR. In a city that embraces beer, art, and the outdoors it only seems logical to bring them all together for one celebration. “HOOD is where the heART is” did just that by premiering a gallery of Mt. Hood snowboard photography and video at Lizard Lounge; where the kegs flowed a selection of cold and free Widmer all night long!

This local community style event, which donated all proceeds to the SNOWDAYS foundation saw nearly 500 people come through its doors. Among the masses was an entertaining mix of art enthusiasts and “gypsy thug disco punk snowboarders”.

Featuring over 30 local riders in photo & video, this Northwest project is just one piece of the puzzle making the statement that Mt. Hood is a breeding ground for talent year round, not just a summer stomping ground.
