World’s Premier Action Sports Photography Exhibition Lands at the Denver Performing Arts Center

WHAT: Red Bull Illume is a photography contest and exhibition dedicated to finding and celebrating the world’s most outstanding and premium adventure sports images. The winners are chosen by an international jury of experts. By illuminating the passion, thrilling lifestyle and culture behind the winning shots, we honor the photographers who brave the world’s harshest terrains to take them. Photography categories include culture, playground, energy, spirit, close up, wings, sequence, new creativity, experimental and illumination.

The 50 selected photos come to life each night via state of the art, large-scale, back-lit screens. In the heart of downtown Denver, the Galleria at the Denver Performing Arts Center, the largest performing arts complex under one roof, plays host to this unique exhibition.
Snowboarding icon, and 2x Transworld Snowboarding Magazine “Rider of the Year,” John Jackson hosts the unveiling party and will officially “flip the switch” illuminating the exhibition for the first time in Denver.
