STRATTON MOUNTAIN, Vt. – Local bluegrass band Gold Town and late night DJ sets highlight the music schedule for Stratton Mountain’s Vermont Open, March 14-17.

An outdoor stage in the main base area will blast music during the day, while stages in Grizzly’s and the Green Door Pub (recently chosen by Rome Snowboards and Transworld Snowboarding as the “Greatest Après Bar in North America”) will host bands and DJs so riders, spectators and merriment makers can roll from the hill to apres to late night.

From the Vermont Open Kick-off Party to the DJ’s final beats on St. Patty’s Day, slopeside music is a great accompaniment to the on-mountain throwdown. Competitors have access to all parties and events. For spectators, most music events are free. Full schedule:
