Neff and Lobster take over session 4 at Windells Camp [GALLERY]

Words by Chas Truslow

Another session comes to an end at Windells. Campers enjoyed another stellar park set up by Chase Weaver and the Windells Diggers, packed with a variety of features from jumps and rails to the Nike van. Session 4 Team Takeover riders from Neff Headwear and Lobster Snowboards, Dylan Thompson, Halldor Helgason, Eiki Helgason, Tim Humphreys, and Stevie Bell made sure campers were never bored hosting multiple on and off hill activities throughout the session.

The Neff and Lobster crews used every inch of Windells’ mile-long Private Park to get campers stoked. Mornings were spent hot lapping Palmer and warming up before hitting the park to film and host activities. Campers won tons of free Neff and Lobster gear in rail jams, spin to win showdowns and a “Highest Hippie” jump contest. Also, there were several intense games of S.N.O.W. played by the crew, and by the end of the session, Dylan Thompson stole the show going undefeated, winning every game they played.

During the Lobster “High Ollie” contest campers cracked massive chest-high ollies and two finalists won brand new Lobster boards. Campers also designed their own nose and tail cut-outs in the Lobster “Nosejob” contest. The team chose their favorite design and cut it out for one lucky camper. Neff’s Takeover wouldn’t be complete without an ice cream party to beat the heat.

It was another amazing session here at Windells. Session 5 is the Reunion Team Takeover with Austen Sweetin, Cam Pierce, Niko Cioffi, Nick Visconti and Stevie Bell bringing high energy back to camp for another fun session on and off the hill. Spots are still available for Windells Camp Summer 2013! Register before they’re all gone! Stay tuned to www.windells.com, facebook and instagram for more updates throughout the summer.
