Friday night September 18th was set to be yet another evening of fun and excitement at Avery Brewing Company for the first ever Nomis Design Fall Fashion Show. Together with Search and Rescue DJ crew, National Sports Center for the Disabled, SNOWBOARD Mag, Illegal Petes, and Avery Brewing Company, Nomis Design gathered its forces and fashion and took over the Avery Taproom to showcase its fall 2009 snow and street wear lines. BEER! Taco Bar MMMMMMM As the doors opened and the music started pumping the excited audience enjoyed an amazing taco bar from Illegal Petes and delicious beer from Avery. The brewing companies storage garage (now transformed into a glamorous run way and party room) quickly filled with an anxious audience ready to see scantily clad models and Nomis' new and exciting line of street wear and snowboard attire. Once every one was full of beer and tacos, and the models were ready, every one took there seats the lights were dimmed and the runway show began. The models glided and twirled down the run way to the beats provided by Search and Rescue. Ready for the show! One last beer before the show Bikinis and outerwear…..new trend? Very serious, very professional Some of the excitement on the runway included fireworks from americas next top male model Andy Orley heres a photo mid explosion. As the runway show came to an end and everyone was a bit drunk it was a runway free for all! Barry and Jamie I think Jamie was tired from all the walking! Travis has chlamydia thanks John haha After the last of the product was raffled and the models were done there walking it was time to auction the fantastic art provided by Jonathan Stanish (Lip Factory) of Portland OR The happy owner of this awesome piece of art thanks to his donation of $120 to the National Sports Center for the Disabled. After it was all over we headed out to West End for an after party which was super fun but a bit blurry!
