Mammoth Mountain gets hit with a foot of fresh snow

Mammoth Mountain is counting down the days, hours, minutes, until the lifts are brought back to life on November 7th. As if the anticipation wasn’t already off the charts, a foot of fresh powder graced the slopes last night, and dedicated shredders are itching to tear it up.

The first 100 shred fiends that make it to Mammoth on opening day will ride for free, with the slackers left to dish out $60 — a reduced price set to commemorate Mammoth’s 60th anniversary this year.
