The Zumiez 100K went off in Keystone, Colorado Tuesday night. Zumiez has a tradition of stoking out their top-selling employees with a trip to Keystone to shred and party with some of the biggest names in action sports culture. Each employee present sold at least $100,000 worth of merchandise in 2012 to get this coveted golden ticket.
Where else can you see Shephard Fairey, Zumiez owner Tom Campion, Travis Pastrana, Jake Burton, Jamie Lynn, Christian Hosoi, Danny Kass, Pharrell Williams, Erik Ellington, Travis Rice, John Jackson, Eric Koston, Nyjah Huston, Nicky Diamonds, Jamie Thomas, Stevie Williams, Hana Beaman, Leanne Pelosi, Laura Hadar, Danny Davis, Keegan Valaika, Forest Bailey, Peter Line, Zac Marben, Louie Vito, Greg Bretz, JP Walker, Marc Frank Montoya, Scotty Lago, Mark McMorris, Jack Mitrani, Kelly Clark, Pat Moore, Stevie Bell, Ethan Deiss and Johnnie Paxson in the same room? DeadMau5 was the headliner. Love or hate electro-house music, the exclusive party had something for everyone lucky enough to be there.
Beer and wine flowed, the wine being poured by scantily clad acrobatic bartenders above the party. Poker tables, giant inflatable plastic bubbles you could roll around in and an insane raffle including the last pressed Forum board hand painted by Peter Line. Partygoers donned crazy costumes letting loose as they rubbed elbows with action sports icons. Zumiez 100K is a dream party that will for sure be an incentive for Zumiez employees to kick ass again in 2013. That is, once they recover from their hangovers.
