Frank April is the definition of tall-guy style. It’s almost counterintuitive to think that he is one of the best jibbers in snowboarding right now, but a quick watch of Big Frank going 270 onto a rail quashes any doubts about his appearance in relation to his snowboarding. We’re stoked for your new family Frank, the Arbor team is going to treat you well.

Official release from Arbor Snowboards:

For years, Frank April has been a staple of the Quebec jib scene, quietly pushing the progression of street snowboarding to new levels until he broke onto the world stage with his video part in Déjà Vu’s self titled freshman release. The video won both Transworld Snowboarding’s and Snowboarder Magazine’s award for “Video of the Year” in 2013. The same year, Frank took home the viewers choice gold medal in X-Games Real Snow.

“After visiting the headquarters for Arbor and talking with the crew, I knew it was the brand I wanted to ride for,” says Frank. “Their family vibe is the best and the boards ride so perfectly. I have been riding the boards for the past two months and I’ve never been this stoked to be on snow.”

Frank has been stacking shots for Déjà Vu’s second release, Encore, a two-year project that will premiere Fall 2015. “I can’t think of anyone else who is equally entertaining to watch on or off their snowboard,” says Arbor Team Manager, Sean Black. “Every year, Frank delivers the most progressive video parts filled with unparalleled trick selection, flawless style, and next level antics. His energy and experience add immeasurable value to our program.”

Frank joins snowboarders Mark Carter, Curtis Woodman, Brandon Hammid and Scotty Vine on Arbor’s pro team. Frank is the second of three new riders to join the team as we move into 2015. Stay turned for more exciting team announcements and developments from Arbor Snowboards in the coming weeks.
