Not even of age for a driving permit, Chloe Kim has become the youngest Winter X Games gold medalist at only 14-years-old.
After taking a gnarly slam during practice, Chloe came from the second place position to take the lead from 13-time medalist Kelly Clark on her third and final run of the night. For women’s halfpipe riding, this is a huge testament to the level of skill that these ladies are bringing to competition. Torah Bright and Hannah Teter were sending it to the moon, a first-hit switch 900 from Chloe, and of course Kelly’s usual dominance of the pipe.
Congratulations on making X Games history Chloe, you gave an extraordinary performance.
