Mark McMorris’ winning runs form X Games 2015 big air were nothing to scoff at. Putting down multiple triples, McMorris claimed his first X Games Big Air title since 2012.
There was absolutely no shortage of triple cork variations tonight, which has completely become the standard fare at this level of competition. Whether or not that’s a good thing is up for debate. Unfortunately we didn’t have the colorful Twitter commentary of Todd Richards to assist us with the topic, but hopefully we’ll get some tweets from @btoddrichards on the matter in the days to come.
Congratulations to Mark on his gold medal win. Celebration tonight!
