Premonition Films:

It’s been a slow start to the season for us in the NW, I sat patiently as people ran out to core shot their boards on the first few coatings of powder. Finally a flurry of storms right before the holidays laid down a good snowpack and continued to dump for a couple weeks and it was finally game on.

This was my first day back on hill I saw it lining up about a week ahead so I packed up the wife and kid and went north to Bellingham to see some friends then headed up to Glacier to wait for the storm to hit Mt. Baker. The first attempt after a 15″ overnight snowfall was thwarted by a flat tire which ended up working in our favor cause chair 6 never opened that day. After fixing the tire we headed up the hill after another 10″ fell overnight waited out chair 6 and got one of the deepest runs of my life!

Turns out it dumped 5 feet total in that storm and it was basically untouched on chair 6! I was bringing down sluffs everywhere I went and you could barley ollie it was so deep! Need less to say amazing first day back on the board plus got some amazing footage in the whiteroom with my GoPro and Camtrol Sniper 1080!
