The wait is finally over. Back in April, DBK shared his vision of projectDETOUR with the world, stating that this was going to be a film series that would stand out amidst the clutter and noise of the internet. The first look at the trailer confirmed his words. projectDETOUR is a series of three short films, each one set in a different location: The Alps, Greece, and California. With consistent crew and riders rotating based on each destination, the films set out to put more than just snowboarding on display, but the culture and sense of place that each location holds.

Each film in the projectDETOUR series will be released this fall on Snowboardmag.com

From David Bertschinger Karg:

projectDETOUR is a short film series about three trips to three destinations. We’ve been hiking waist deep powder in the Alps, we high fived sheep farmers in Greece and rode our motorbikes through the state of California.
Right now I can not think of a better way to spend a winter season. Definitely one for the books! Stay tuned for the three short films dropping this fall.
