The top four snowboarders competing for the FWT title at Bec des Ross

This year’s finals in snowboarding are the most exciting of all. Four riders are still in the game for taking the world title. With solid performances throughout the season, landing on the podium of each FWT tour stop, Austrian Thomas Feuerstein still holds a narrow lead ahead of freeride legend Gigi Rüf (AUT). But while Gigi is known from countless film parts for his smooth, fluid style and effortless airs, the big question is whether he’ll be able to bring those lines into the rocky, unforgiving face of Bec des Rosses. Still in the game are also last year’s World Champion Sammy Luebke (USA), and compatriot Davey Baird, both part of last year’s American triple podium.
