Austen Sweetin’s snowboarding is a kettle that’s just about to boil over but that never overflows. His riding is explosive and extemporaneous, yet in complete control with the smoothest style. And anytime he releases a new video, we all tune in. This fall has brought us lots of Sweetin in Quik’s team movie SEQUENCER, as well as AK mission Trio Sonic, and the latest is Clip Economy, which takes viewers through Austen’s 2023 season from Baker to Brighton to Jackson Hole and more. “It’s a clip economy; we’re just living in it.” Every year, we invest in the thing we love, snowboarding and filming snowboarding. Spending time in the mountains with like-minded boarders, sharing turns, creating memories, and pushing the boundaries and limitations of our snowboarding. This video is the result of a season well-traveled during our constant pursuit of riding powder. From my backyard at Mt. Baker to the season of seasons at Brighton, Jackson Hole to Stellar, and a last-minute strike to the Selkirk Tangiers, I present to you “Clip Economy,” a video resume from the 2023 season.
