Eldora Mountain Resort in Nederland, Colorado had one heck of a winter for 2018-2019 season. They received unprecedented amounts of snow, and had an incredible season because of it.

Brent Trevaskis, Eldora’s President & General Manager, reached out to all that had a chance to ride Eldora this season, and gave his thanks for making it so great.

Check out his words below, and watch the recap video above!

Now that we’ve all had a couple of weeks to catch our breath, I wanted to reach out with a heartfelt thanks to everyone who pitched in to make the winter of 2018/19 an incredible season. There is truly a lot to celebrate, from our earliest opening in more than 20 years to our extended closing day and everything in between. Nature blessed us with 20 feet of snow, and the Herculean efforts of our snowmakers augmented the bounty, enabling us to open a whole lot of terrain, including Corona Bowl and the Nordic Center, quickly and early.

Our Woodward terrain parks were bigger and better than ever, providing park riders with fantastic features so close to the Front Range. Our Nordic Center opened early and stayed open until late April, with some of the best conditions in years. Our Trek and Eldorables kids’ programs continued their decades-long legacy of sparking passion for skiing and riding in local youth, close to home. We saw record-breaking visitation, hosted a ton of awesome events and live music, and even got Eldora’s first-ever snow-stake camera up and running.

And that’s just a quick glimpse from our perspective. I have no doubt that so many of you made wonderful memories with friends and family at Eldora this winter. If you have photos or video of those special times, be sure to find us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and use hashtags #CloserToYou and #Eldora201819 to share them with us.

Please enjoy our season recap video and have a fantastic summer. We’ll see you next winter!
