Summer is the magical time of the year where the snowboards are all put away and it is time to skate, surf, and sit by a campfire… or is it? There is plenty of riding going down still if you know where to find it and when to go (and can afford it). It isn’t cheap, but there are overnight summer snowboard camps that provide everything you need to have fun snowboarding in the warm months. Lucky for you, Red and company gave us some video proof of the whole thing to show above.
Red Gerard just had a signature summer camp week at his home resort, Copper Mountain in Colorado, alongside some fellow pros and dropped an edit online so we can all see what a week of riding in 70+ degree weather looks like. There are still plenty of camps in the Northern Hemisphere that are running for summer riding (and Mammoth Mountain still hasn’t even closed from the winter storms) so if this looks like a good time go find the one closest to you and have fun.
