Burton opening a factory is not anything new. They've had barns, garages and factory floors for years. "Craig's", the new prototype factory located just across the parking lot from Burton'sBurlington, VT headquarters, is different though. It celebrates one of snowboardings greatest riders and will help continue the tradition of taking their riders feedback and putting it in to production.

I had the opportunity to take a little tour of Craig's and it's epic. You have all of the functionality of a factory that is going to crank out high tech prototypes and all of the feeling that you can only get from a company that has been around since 1977.

I might be a sucker for all of the historical crap or maybe I just like seeing snowboards being made. You should go by and check it out.
