Looks like Milan is going to see Red Gerard compete in slopestlye and big air when the Olympics come to town next February. After a busy season of contests, Red’s results have put him in the drivers seat for next season with his number being officially called by the U.S. teams as it’s second athlete (behind Chloe Kim who clinched earlier this Spring) named to the 2026 Olympic team. Around 3,000 athletes will head to Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy for the games that kick off February 6, 2026 to compete for the 116 gold medals available across the disciplines.
Red’s last trip to the Winter Games in Beijing resulted in just missing the podium with a fourth place finish in slopestyle. Will he regain his gold status from 2018 in Pyeongchang? Only time will tell. He is currently ranked second overall in slopestyle on the world stage after the world cup season ended a few weeks ago. Check out a few of his highlights below.
